Plan your bioactive cleanup crew.
Powder Orange/Blue Mix Isopods (Porcellionides pruinosus) are a vibrant, fast-breeding combination of two of the most popular pruinosus morphs: Powder Orange and Powder Blue. This mix gives you a hardy, adaptable, visually striking cleanup crew with tons of color variety and movement.
Both morphs are known for:
• rapid reproduction
• high surface activity
• strong tolerance for warmer, drier, or fluctuating environments
• excellent cleanup crew performance
Together, they create a dynamic colony with bright oranges and dusty blues intermixed — a favorite for bioactive builders who want function and aesthetic appeal.
Pruinosus are incredibly forgiving and do well in tropical, temperate, and semi-arid builds. They establish quickly, break down waste, cycle nutrients into the soil, and stay active enough for beginners to enjoy watching.
What’s Included:
• Live Powder Orange/Blue Mix Isopods (hand-counted)
• Vented deli cup with fresh moss
• Live Arrival Guarantee (weather permitting; conditions apply)
Optional additions
Starting two separate colonies? See the Two-Colony Starter Bundle: 10 Dairy Cows + 25 Powder Mix. Keep the cultures in separate enclosures.
You can also add a separate 10-count Dairy Cow culture. See the linked listing for current pricing.
